Pay Scale

Rs.9,300-34,800/- ( PB-2) plus Rs. 4,600/- (Grade Pay) (Total emoluments excluding T.A. and HRA at the time of initial appointment will be Rs.28700 /-p.m. approximately)

Age

Not exceeding 30 years as on normal closing date. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/U.T. Government Servant upto Five years as per instructions/orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. Essential Qualificaiton (s)

A. EDUCATIONAL
Bachelors Degree in Agriculture with Animal Science from a recognised University.

B. EXPERIENCE Two years’ experience in any cattle farm under the Veterinary or Agriculture Department of a Central Government or State Government or of a registered Cooperative Society in the field of management and breeding of livestock.
Note-I The qualifications are relaxable at Commission’s discretion in case of candidates otherwise well qualified.

Desirable Qualificaiton (s)

M.Sc. in Agriculture or Animal Science or Dairying from a recognised University.

Duty(ies)

-To supervise the various operations relating to management of farm animals like feeding (concentrate and fodder), cleaning, washing of cow sheds, management of calves etc.
-Care and management of farm animals, production, disposal of milk.
-Supervise cleaning of byres, milking of animals, up keeping of pedigree records of the herd.
-Keep vigil on utilization of feed and fodder
-Hygienic production of milk and its disposal.

Other Details

General Central Service, Group ’B’, Gazetted (Non-Ministerial).
