Duty(ies)

Duties of Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner inter alia are to look after the work of Enforcement, Recovery, Accounts, Administration, Cash, Legal, Pension and Computer which includes the statutory and administrative functions like conducting inquiry settlement of claims general administration maintenance of Cash Book/Reconciliation of Bank Statements MIS returns etc.

Any Other Conditions

i) Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation is a statutory body and service under it will not be treated as Govt. Service.
ii) In respect of permanent Government Servant appointed as APFC, the EPFO can pay leave salary and pension contribution as admissible under the rules for two years if a demand is made by the parent department for the same for maintaining lien. If he/she ultimately chooses to go back to his/her parent department, the amount remitted is liable to be refunded to the orgnization before the officer is relieved.

Degree of a recognized University.

B. EXPERIENCE
Three years experience in Government or semi-Government Office or in a private concern of repute in indenting purchases, maintenance of technical Stores or accounts.

Note-I The qualifications are relaxable at Commission’s discretion in case of candidates otherwise well qualified.

Note-II The qualification regarding experience are relaxable at Commission’s discretion in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes in respect of posts reserved for them, if at any stage of selection, the Union Public Service Commission is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from these communities possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the posts reserved for them.

Indenting purchases, Maintenance of technical stores and keeping of stores accounts. To advise the Director or concerned Lab on all latest instructions relating to stores aspects. Any other work assigned from time to time.

To provide essential link between State and Central Governments in solving problems in horticulture production and providing authoritative recommendations for use of Agricultural Officers and extension workers at field level.
